Stenographer Grade-I, Junior Translation Officer (JTO), Stenographer Grade II, Administrative Assistant, Store Assistant, Security Assistant, Vehicle Operator, Fire Engine Driver, and Fireman
Educational Qualification and Age Limit
Stenographer Grade-I :
- The candidates should have completed their graduation from a recognised university. The candidate must be good at typing.
- Not more than 30 years
Junior Translation Officer (JTO) :
- Master’s degree of a recognized university in English/Hindi with Hindi/English as compulsory/elective subject at the degree level OR Master’s degree of a recognized University in any subject with Hindi as the medium of instruction and examination with English as a compulsory subject at degree level OR Bachelor’s degree with Hindi and English as main subjects or either of the two as medium of examination and other as a main subject plus recognized Diploma or Certificate Course in translation from Hindi and English and vice versa or two years’ experience of translation work from Hindi English and vice versa in Central or State Government offices, including Government of India Undertakings.

Stenographer Grade-II :
- 12th Class pass from a recognised Board or University
- 18-27 years
Administrtaive Assistant :
- 12th Class pass Or equivalent from a recognised Board or University.
- 18-27 years
Store Assistant
- 12th Class pass from a recognised Board.
- 18-27 years
Vehicle Operator
- 10th Pass from a recognised board.
- Not more than 27 years
Fire Engine Driver
- Pass in 10th Standard from a recognised Board.
- 18-27 years
Fireman
- Secondary School Certificate (10th Standard pass under 10+2 System) recognised by the Central/State Government.

Apply Online
- As mentioned in the DRDO CEPTAM 10 Notification, the DRDO will start accepting online applications from 07th November 2022 (10 am) onwards and continue till 07th December 2022 (5 pm). The link for online registration will be made available on the official website www.drdo.gov.in and for your reference, we will be updating the direct link here too.
Application Fee
The candidates have to submit an online application fee required to apply for DRDO Application Process. The fee is to be paid online through credit card/net banking/UPI. The fees once paid will not be refunded.
- General/OBC/EWS & Other candidates : Rs. 100/-
- All Women candidates : Exempted
- SC/ST/PwD/ESM : Exempted
Selection Process
DRDO has also released the selection process for DRDO CEPTAM 10 Exam to be held for Admin and Allied Posts. The selection process for all posts includes Computer Based Test which is common, and the post-wise selection process is described below.
- Junior Translation Officer (JTO) : CBT + Descriptive
- Stenographer Grade-II, Administrative Assistant, Store Assistant, Security Assistant, Vehicle Operator, Fire Engine, Driver, Fireman : CBT + Skill/Physical Fitness and Capability Test, wherever applicable
