Various sections of Pradhan Mantri Kusum Yojana

Pradhan Mantri Kusum Yojana-A
This department is functioning for farmers to energy donors.
- Farmers can install solar plants on their barren land. Can earn more in it.
- Under this section, farmers are given the facility to generate solar energy for 25 years and sell it to the power distribution company.
PM Kusum Yojana Part- B
Under this section farmers are requested to install solar pumps instead of diesel.
- Facility is provided for installation of Solar Pump where there is no agricultural electricity connection.
- Farmers are given a subsidy of up to 60% of the cost of solar pumps.
- This subsidy is 75 ho.pa. is given within the limit.
- In this section only contribution as per fixed cost has to be reimbursed as per GERC norms for forest area farmers.
- Applicants of Tribal for Agricultural Power Connection (TASP) scheme will not have to pay any contribution.
PM Kusum Yojana-C
This scheme for farmers has PM Kusum Yojana-C section. This section has two sub-sections.
- One section has individual level pumps for solarisation.
- In which farmers with existing agricultural power connections will be given subsidy up to 60% of the cost of solar pumps.

Required Documents For PM Kusum Scheme
Under the Pradhan Mantri Kusum Yojana 2022, some documents are required to avail the benefits to the farmers. Which are as follows.
- Aadhaar card of the beneficiary farmer
- Bank account passbook
- 7/12 copy of land
- Copy of 8-A of land
- Declaration Form
Up to 90 percent return on PM Solar Panel
Farmers are encouraged to produce solar energy under PM Kusum Yojana.
Under this scheme, farmers will have to pay only 10 percent of the amount for installing solar panels on their land. State Governments and Government of India provide up to 60% subsidy amount in farmers’ bank accounts. It includes the condition of equal contribution from the Center and the States. Additionally, there is a 30 percent fee loan provision from the bank. Farmers can easily repay this loan from their income.
